Saudi Arabia won over Argentina

 In the 2022 World Cup Group C, Argentina faced Saudi Arabia at the Lusail Stadium. At the very beginning of the match, when Slavko Vincic blew his whistle, Argentina took the lead 1-0 with Messi's penalty kick in the 10th minute. The 3 goals scored by Argentina in the first half, which continued their press game, were not considered valid due to offside.

The second half of the match almost started with the goal of Saudi Arabia. The Saudis tied with Saleh Al Shehri in the 48th minute. Saudi Arabia, which was loaded with many men on its rival in these minutes, caught 2-1 with Salem Al Dawsari in 53.
